The 2022 NCCIA Annual Conference will be held at the Washington Duke Inn on the Campus of the Duke University in Durham, NC.

Those individuals who would like to make a panel presentation at the conference are invited to return a Request for Proposal (RFP) for consideration by the Conference Planning Committee, Chaired by Susan Euteneuer of Oxford Risk Management Group.

The NCCIA is seeking proposals for presentations for its upcoming Annual Conference. Specifically, we are seeking topics relating to captive insurance innovations and captive industry hot topics. 

There is interest in receiving topic submissions in areas related to engaging new and diversified insurance professionals, pandemic related captive success stories, and current market conditions, as well as any industry hot topic.

Conference dates: May 1 – 4, 2022
Location: The Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club, Durham, North Carolina
Safe conference: As the impact of the pandemic continues to evolve, we will be working with the Washington Duke to make sure that necessary safety protocols related to group events, prescribed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the North Carolina Department of Health & Human Services are implemented and followed. Additional information related to safety measures will be shared in the coming months.

Helpful guidance for submissions:
The NCCIA is looking for creative and stimulating sessions that provide relevant and germane ideas significant to today’s captive insurance industry as well as those that consider the future of the captive industry.

Committee, in particular, are looking for sessions that offer case studies that lead to solutions to problems in the captive management process. Topics that relate to process management, where Captives fit in the risk management process of companies and multigenerational challenges in the workplace are of particular interest for 2022. Topics can be submitted to the committee via electronic submission at the URL below. Deadline for submission is November 12, 2021.

Submissions should include the following:

● Concise and descriptive title
● Summary of pertinent and unique content (no more than 100 words)
● List of proposed panelists. (panels should include no more than three speakers and we encourage submissions to include panels that are diverse in experience, gender, race and/or ethnicity, where possible).
