The NCCIA is seeking proposals for presentations for its upcoming Annual Conference. Specifically, we are seeking topics relating to captive insurance innovations and captive industry hot topics.

As you are already aware, planning for the 2020 conference was well underway by the time we were ultimately forced to cancel it. As a result, there are number of session submissions that were previously selected, each of which will be rolled ahead to the 2021 conference. If your session was selected in 2020, there is no requirement to resubmit the topic for approval, however, we request that material for these will be updated to include pandemic related issues where appropriate.

In addition, we are interested in receiving additional submissions to be considered for the 2021 conference. There is interest in receiving topic submissions in areas related to engaging new and diversified insurance professionals, pandemic related captive success stories, and current market conditions, as well as any industry hot topic.

Conference dates: August 29-September 1, 2021
Location: The Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club, Durham, North Carolina
Safe conference: As the impact of the pandemic continues to evolve, we will be working with the Washington Duke to make sure that necessary safety protocols related to group events, prescribed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the North Carolina Department of Health & Human Services are implemented and followed. Additional information related to safety measures will be shared in the coming months.
